I just thought I’d share with you how the song “Love of the Father” came to be…
We were at a youth summer camp and…well, I let you hear it from one of the youth -
“What happened to me at summer camp a couple of years ago was I was totally still scared from my dads death I didnt cry for 2 whole years. I hated everything, I basically wanted to die…but one night we had worship…I dont know what happened, but I finally felt the presence of God and when I felt it I started to cry ALOT. Andrew started praying over me and he started to sing “Oh Great Love Of The Father” for the first time… I didnt show emotion after my dad died and when he started singing that I was filled with the Holy Spirit for the first time and it changed my life forver! I never knew how real God was until then!”
Amazing stuff when God comes in your life – freedom.
He is the Savior, the Healer – so much more – and the Father to the fatherless.
Thanks to all who came out to celebrate with us last Sunday! Our CD release party was a success! What a great journey thus far and what a great God we worship!
